eleanorjane: Sophie Deveraux looking worried. (damn)

Hard on the heels of finishing my last vid, I hit upon an idea for another - so I set to, and was struck by a dilemma. I really want to migrate to a more advanced video editing program, either Premiere or Final Cut Pro, largely because the fine-detail editing options of iMovie are a bit lacking. (Plus although I haven't found myself wanting to use effects yet, I suspect my vids would be better if I had the option.)

Unfortunately, I have already imported the entirety of Leverage into iMovie, ready for vidding from. Picking up a new software package would necessitate re-clipping the entire series and importing again, and the clipping progress is quite frankly sucky and tedious. Urgh.

So I kind of feel tied to iMovie for Leverage vids, and all the work to set myself up in one of the other packages just is not appealing. At all.

Hmph.

If it's any reassurance, you can import an iMovie project into Final Cut. There's a tutorial of how to do it on the Apple website.
