Less than two dozen issues in, and I think I'm done with New Avengers. a) I really hate the "set up to look bad in the media through no fault of your own" trope, which this storyline is playing off, and b) Luke Cage is a colossal dick. Which is a shame, as I'm enjoying a lot of the rest of the characters (and I now finally get why Spidey is so many peoples' favouritest ever). Still, even if they get past the whole "the whole world hates the Avengers" shtick, I don't know that I can get past wanting to punch Luke Cage in the face multiple times every issue.
