Day 09 - Best scene ever.
Augh! I can't decide!
From Dark Angel, Zack's "X5-599, I've got a heart for you", from And Jesus Brought A Casserole.
From Farscape, Aeryn's dogfight with John, and her grace and fear: "I hope you meant what you said in the neural cluster. I did." as she's plummeting to her death in Die Me, Dichotomy.
Again from Farscape, John to Aeryn as he's dying, "They say - it's a lucky - or an unambitious man who goes when he's ready. That said - Scorpius is gone. I'm at peace. I don't - hurt. I... I did some good things. I'm proud of my life. And I'm with you. Don't worry about me... I've never felt better." from Infinite Possibilities 2 - Icarus Abides.
Futurama has some wonderful moments amongst the ridiculousness, like the end of Parasites Lost, where Fry loses his chance with Leela and quietly starts teaching himself the Holophonor - echoed by a similar scene at the end of The Devil's Hands are Idle Playthings, where he again loses his Holophonor ability and Leela this time encourages him to keep going.
From Firefly, the conclusion of Ariel, where Mal locks Jayne in the airlock for betraying the Tams (and, by extension, Mal) - "You turn on any of my crew, you turn on me. But since that's a concept you can't seem to wrap your head around, then you got no place here. You did it to me, Jayne. And that's a fact."
and the following scene, where Simon goes to River:
River: What are you doing?
Simon: Oh, I, ah, brought some medicine. Do you remember why we went to the hospital?
River: Time to go to sleep again.
Simon: No, mei mei. It's time to wake up.
I really, really want to say that my favourite might have to be Zoe and Mal in Serenity: "Think she'll hold together?" "She's tore up plenty. But she'll fly true." but I guess that doesn't count on account of it being from a movie. Bah.
Argh, too hard! And for all these, there are so many more. I can't pick just one!
