That doesn't happen very often.
May. 22nd, 2013 01:22 pmI hate it when I find a fic with a really interesting premise/plot but awful writing. It doesn't happen often, I find, but it's still frustrating.
In other news, I am really surprised that fic-writing fandom hasn't exploded in the wake of IM3 and STID. I'm not subscribed to all that many Star Trek writers -- I only really started subscribing to authors on AO3 in the last 12 months -- but I'm surprised that Avengers fandom hasn't leapt on the latest morsels of canon.
Translation: anyone got any good recs? I've had to resort to reading my way through pairing tags on AO3 (currently working on Darcy/Bruce) and that never ends well.
