Day 02 - A show that you wish more people were watching

I don't actually have an obvious answer for this. Most of the stuff that I really love at the moment tends to be fairly mainstream and popular; it's not so obscure that I think "oh, people would love this if they only knew about it". (My current dedicated TV-watching roster is: NCIS, Castle, Burn Notice, and QI, plus I'm less dedicated about but still interested in NCIS:LA (though I fast-forward through the Emo Manpain episodes), Bones, Dr Who, Spicks and Specks, and Leverage.)

If this was last year, I'd say The Middleman, to try and save it from cancellation - but it's too late now. So I think I'll say Castle, just to keep it safe, since it's the one in most danger.

Fannish Friday Five!

Man, is it that time already? Where did this week go?

From fannish5: Name five characters who probably shouldn't try to be monogamous.

1. Chiana, from Farscape. Her entire nature is to be an unconfined free spirit, and the bounds of monogamy just really aren't her thing.

2. The Doctor. Despite the opportunity to partner with plenty of other ageless lifeforms out there, he chooses to gad about with humans, which tells me he's interested in a multiplicity of experiences rather than cleaving to one person.

3. James T. Kirk, particularly of the Star Trek Reboot variety, because my take on him is that he's definitely not the type to be happy with monogamy. Commitment, sure, but not monogamy.

4. Tony DiNozzo, of NCIS, because he's just the reverse and it's not working for him: he engages in serial monogamy without the commitment, and he's not happy. IMO, DiNozzo would be happiest in a committed open relationship.

5. Tony Stark, because - let's face it - he's a cad. :)
