Baking! It's something I've never been terribly good at, because I've never bothered practising - because I've been living alone for the last decade or more, which means I'd wind up eating everything :)
Now that I have someone to feed the products to, though, I'm trying to get some more baking practise in. So, for starters, feel free to rec me your favourite baking recipes!

Corn, cheese, and jalapeno muffins!
Rough instructions:
* Mix 100g plain flour, 100g yellow cornmeal, 1 tsp salt and 1 tbsp baking powder.
* Make a well; add 1 beaten egg, 225ml milk and 5-6 tbsp (!) of melted butter.
* Mix well. Add 100g grated cheddar cheese, 2 tbsp chopped picked Jalapeno chilis, mix wel.
* Spoon into greased muffin tins to 3/4 full.
* Bake in oven at 190C (375F/gas mark 5) for 20 minutes or until well risen.
Nicest when warm out of the oven, but pretty tasty when cool too.
