Mass Effect
Sep. 2nd, 2013 01:07 amSo I've given up on resuming my old Mass Effect saves* and I'm starting again from scratch, since I loved what I played of Mass Effect and I really do want to finish it.
Only I've decided I really can't be arsed dealing with the combat scenarios. I play plenty of combat games; that's not what I want out of Mass Effect and I'd really rather just faceroll my way through the combat scenes. So. I seem to recall people talking about this semi-recently, but I don't remember the details: are there any invulnerability cheats or other useful combat-bypass methods? Specifically ones that will work on the Steam version of the game?
(* I was a good way through ME when my old gaming machine died. I salvaged the save games, but by the time I replaced the machine I'd forgotten where I was up to in the storyline and all the side missions, and I'm a completionist so I didn't want to just skip stuff. It's been long enough now that starting again won't feel like a chore, though.)
