We went to see Thor: The Dark World tonight, with a friend, and I really enjoyed it. The first part was a little slow, but I thought it was basically well-paced, with a good balance of drama and humour. The bad guys are appropriately menacing, the fx are mostly good, and the staging of the climactic fight scene was fantastic. And I continue to be happy about how awesome Tom Hiddleston is as Loki. Also, there was a cameo that made me snort bubbles of hilarity in my Slurpee. (Plus, there is lots of Darcy. Fandom gonna love this one.)

Also, Odin's a dick. But that's not news.

I need more MCU icons, stat!
