I really, really want someone to vid Tony Stark to Lapdance by N.E.R.D. so I don't have to. Come on, surely someone's already done it, right? It's just made for Tony.
I don't have a detailed out line or anything, but I got to the third verse, and went "you know, blue jeans and motorbikes are as much/more Steve's image than Tony's" and then "and hey, his chorus girls are way more political, too." And since most of the rest of the song is about drinking and violence, that footage would be there for either of them.
The Steve version would be much more counter-narrative/constructed universe than Tony's, though, of course. (I suppose somebody who was much better at vidding could even splice them together to say something profound. Not sure what though.)
...there might even be enough footage to do a Nick Fury version, but I think it would involve implying things about Coulson and Hill that I'm kind of scared to.
And I see what you mean in terms of it being Steve-relevant. When I was thinking of it as a Tony song, for "motorcycle" I was of course thinking "Iron Man suit". :)
