The Girl Who Fell Beneath Fairyland and Led the Revels There by Catherynne Valente.
What did you recently finish reading?
Lots of Avengers fic (comfort reading and rereading), and the first two Fairyland books by Cat Valente: The Girl Who Circumnavigated Fairyland in a Ship of Her Own Making and its prequel, The Girl Who Ruled Fairyland - For a Little While. They're lovely fairytales with clever, self-aware narration, and their imagination and creativity is lovely. (As is the prose.) Highly recommended.
What do you think you'll read next?
If I enjoy the current Fairyland book, probably more of Valente's stuff. :)
