Tis the Season to be Pondering Yuletide

So, time to contemplate what to offer, and what to request, if I do do Yuletide this year.

Avengers is my primary fandom right now, insofar as I have one, and there is less than zero chance that anything even remotely Avenger-y will be eligible. Unless Captain Marvel counts as a separate fandom somehow, because CAROL. I don't like my chances, though.

Pacific Rim might be a good contender. Except, oh, there are 1760 fics on AO3 already. Balls. (I don't even want to contemplate how many of them are Chuck/Raleigh.

Elementary? 603 works on AO3. (The upper limit is 250 on AO3 and 1000 on FF.net, or double that amount if only one site hits the cutoff point.)

And the "first year fandoms" rule has been canned, so I don't think I've got much of a chance for either one.

Hmm. What else have I seen this year? Nothing I feel comfortable offering, except possibly Despicable Me 2. (That could be fun to write, actually.) And the only new show I've picked up is Arrow, and I'm not that far into it, and I ... am not sure I could write most of the pairings people probably want. (Oh, and it's got 436 works on AO3 anyway.)

So, I guess it's down to book fandoms... as usual. :)

Someone, quick, remind me of all the tiny fandoms I'd love to read in or write for! I am drawing a blank.

I think Despicable Me 2 would be hilarious to write for. Personally, I think all tiny book fandoms sounds wonderful, though I have seen some amazing fics for video games in the past and am thinking of requesting Don't Starve myself. Would your favourite current game count?
