Well, damn.
Posting now before bed because I don't want to spoil tomorrow's daily happiness, but:
Cote de Pablo is leaving NCIS, which means no more Ziva David.
I'm really colossally bummed about this. Ziva's an awesome character, a strong woman who was allowed to be strong and kickass without being forced into the masculine Ripleyesque mold. NCIS is faily on a whole bunch of grounds, but I have always felt that they did a great job with Ziva's characterisation, and she's probably my single favourite character of the entire series. She got awesome, meaty, tasty storylines, and I think she got more character development over the space of her time on the show than any three other characters put together.
I really hope her replacement is as awesome. I missed Kate, after two seasons; after eight seasons, I'm going to miss Ziva so very much more.
Now I'm going to have to make that Ziva fanvid that won't leave my brain, as a farewell.
