This would be the sound of me signing up for not one but two prompts at multiverse5000. However, I do at least have good ideas for both!

Also, andrastewhite - the mod of multiverse5000 - has asked participants to mention the fest's existence, since it's had a big format change this year to make it easier to run and participate in. Duly mentioned!

(Man, some of the unclaimed prompts look awesome, and I'm only stopped from claiming them by the fact that I don't know their canons well enough. Oh, and the fact that writing two fics in the next six weeks is going to beat my previous average by several orders of magnitude.)

Okay, I have consulted with the better angels of my nature and I think I am not signing up! I don't actually have time, I don't think, because I've seen Cowboy Bebop and I loved it, but it was many years ago and I don't own a copy. So I'd lose at least a week tracking it down and watching it, and with these things... IDK, the heart wants what the heart wants. My head really wants this story, though, so I have stashed the idea for later.

Awww. I guess I will have to go insane and curse my volunteeryness by myself, then. :)

I nabbed a Firefly/Farscape crossover prompt, which should be good, and a Red Dwarf/Futurama crossover prompt, which should be awesome. Two great tastes that taste great together!

Um. Now I just have to worry about the actual execution of said prompts. Erp.
