I mean, I've been preparing for Steve to die in this movie (or the next one?) for several years now, but yeah. On the one hand, I feel like I can't ask too much more, because CATWS was almost the platonic ideal of what I wanted out of a Winter Soldier movie; otoh, I'm still angry when I think about what Cap 3 could have been versus the nonsense we got in Civil War (which I still liked better than AOU, tbh).

I guess it helps that it's not my primary writing fandom anymore, but who knows?
